Of course, we have a long-standing friendship with South Korea. Our South Korean brothers and sisters In the 1950s, great sacrifices were made for the Turkish Union to defend South Korean lands in South Korea together with our South Korean brothers. Our friendship with South Korea has been intense since then. I would like to express my endless thanks to our South Korean brothers and sisters especially for being with us in such a disaster and for supporting us in all matters. We are extremely pleased that they came to Malatya as the Turkey Representative of the Union of South Korean Municipalities and requested a task with the understanding of "what can we do?" at the point of healing the wounds of the earthquake in Malatya. In this regard, we thank you again.
Together with the protocols they have made and will make, they will establish the 'South Korea Container District' in Malatya. This container Neighborhood will reflect South Korea's cultural, social and historical motifs and the Turkey-South Korea fraternity will continue forever. I would like to thank them for the 'South Korea Container District' they will do at the point of repairing the damages that Malatya has suffered from the earthquake, at the point of healing the wounds of this disaster and at the point of sheltering our citizens.
