South Korea or officially the Republic of Korea, located in the Asia-Pacific region, is one of the growing economies of its region with a population of 51 million. South Korea, where there are different commercial activities, has many cities. One of the most important of these cities is Gyeonggi-do. Gyeonggi-do is a region in the northwest of South Korea. Surrounding South Korea's capital city of Seoul and another major province, Incheon, the Gyeonggi region has a population of over 12 million. Gyeonngi is part of the Seoul National Capital Region and is an important economic hub. The region, which also hosts the electronics giants Samsung and LG, which the whole world is familiar with, is one of the most important trade centers of South Korea with sales of more than 55 billion dollars. Gyeonggi stands out with thousands of brands and factories. The region, which has leading brands in its sector, is at the center of imports in South Korea. The region continues its activities with approximately 25 foreign cities and states. Istanbul, Texas, Mexico City are the prominent regions.

Additionally, the Gyeonggi region has the largest Gross Domestic Product in South Korea. Gyeonggi-do, which has the largest growth rate compared to all other provinces, is also home to many start-up companies. According to 2018 statistics, approximately 25,000 new companies are opened in the region in a year. Statistics show that the best region for South Korean start-up firms is Gyeonggi-do.

Apart from its economic activities, the region is also one of the most famous tourist attractions in the world. It offers us the culture of South Korea with its national parks, magnificent shopping centers and restaurants.
